Chlorotolyltriazole corrosion inhibitor provides high level protection to copper, admiralty brass and copper alloys both in absence and presence of oxidizing halogen agents and fulfil industrial requirements. Chloro-tolyltriazole sodium salt (Cl-TTAS) has better efficiency in providing corrosion inhibition property than Tolyltriazole or Benzotriazole in the presence of oxidizing halogens like oxidizing halogens such as chlorine, hypochlorite, and hypobromite.
Applications:
Copper, admiralty brass and copper alloy components are commonly used in industrial water systems e.g. cooling towers etc. Copper corrosion inhibitors are usually added to industrial water systems to prevent dissolution of copper from system surfaces.
